Hunkydory: The Lasting Contemporary
Task: Ahead of Hunkydory’s relaunch in fall 2020, I was tasked with developing a creative strategy and leading the creation of a new brand platform. The goal was to carry the brand’s DNA into a new era—adapting it to a changing world while creating space for growth and evolution.
Solution: We developed the concept The Lasting Contemporary—a way to communicate sustainability and quality, with a modern and relevant tone.
For the brand personality, we drew inspiration from the French aesthetic at the heart of Hunkydory’s design. By channeling traits associated with icons like Caroline de Maigret and Emmanuelle Alt, I shaped a distinctive brand voice and developed a copy tonality to match.
